Democrat Kevin B. Chavous Reports Strongest January Fundraising of Any Candidate in DC Council At-Large Race

WASHINGTON, DC — Democrat Kevin B. Chavous, a longtime DC public servant, attorney, and DC’s Democratic National Committeeman, today announced raising $23,900 from nearly 400 individual donors – 76 percent of whom are DC residents – in less than three weeks since launching his campaign for the Democratic At-Large seat on the DC Council. Chavous raised $17,700 from DC residents, qualifying for the District’s Fair Elections Program in record time and generating $126,200 in matching funds, giving his campaign the strongest January fundraising performance of any candidate in the race.
